The Project: RS Electric and Guarantee Electrical partnered together to complete the overhaul and expansion of the existing treatment site in Johnson County, KS. The $270 million renovation included the addition of a state-of-the-art filtration system, more than 30 new structures and 9 miles of underground utilities. With the additional capacity gained as a result of this upgrade, the county is now able to treat 19 million gallons of water per day (MGD).
